Content & Purpose of the I’ll Make You Think Smart blog:
I’ll Make You Think Smart (IWillMakeYouThinkSmart.com) is the literary blog of a thirty-something Ph.D. who publishes reading notes and book reviews because he reads a lot and enjoys sharing his passion for good books.
Book Summaries do not replace books
Unless otherwise stated, the I’ll Make You Think Smart reading notes are written independently and have not been endorsed by the original book’s author or publisher.
Each book review is drafted with the greatest care but remains subjective. Therefore, some imprecision may remain and the comments might differ from other commentators’ analyses.
Whilst those reviews will give you the key elements of the books, they do not intend to replace the books and will not tell you what to think! The ideas of the authors are best found in the books directly and you are strongly encouraged to go beyond those summaries to find out more by yourself.
The content published on I’ll Make You Think Smart is copyrighted and shall remain the intellectual property of its author(s) and cannot be reproduced in any way.
Personal data in the form of emails and sales statistics are collected through mailing-list subscription forms made to this purpose and freely adhered to by users willing to receive information from I’ll Make You Think Smart occasionally, and following a new purchase.
Personal data will be used to let subscribers know about new releases and internal commercial offers. No personal data will be sold to third parties.
I’ll Make You Think Smart sells memberships which grant users access to the database, provided that the necessary fees are paid to the site electronically, whether monthly or annually, on the basis of the price provided on the Pricing page and which the members have agreed to pay.
Membership fees will be renewed automatically until the user updates their billing preferences, which they can do through their personal account.
Cancellations & Refund policy
Memberships are renewed on a monthly or annual basis, thus granting the users access to the website during a month or a year.
